Buildings Alive, a highly respected and leading independent provider of resource efficiency services for large and complex buildings and Envizi, a global leader in energy and sustainability software solutions are pleased to announce their new partnership. The partnership will deliver a combination of advanced energy monitoring technologies, data analytics and effective engagement programs, to make energy savings in buildings simpler and more cost effective than it has ever been.
Through its Rapid Efficiency Feedback (REF) service, Buildings Alive has developed a strong reputation for using data science to help clients better understand energy performance on a daily basis, making it simpler for clients to identify and realise energy savings across their portfolios. In addition, Buildings Alive delivers site customised energy optimisation programs that combine a high tech but human centric approach, underpinned by regular engagement with site teams to provide guidance and technical support which ensures long term skill development and facilitates behaviour change.
With the addition of Envizi’s Equipment Fault Detection and innovative SoftMeter technology, Buildings Alive are able to tap into another layer of detailed, building specific information to add another dimension to their analysis of energy performance in buildings.
Buildings Alive’s Founder and CEO, Craig Roussac said of the partnership. “Envizi’s approach to data capture and analytics at the equipment level is ground-breaking and represents an industry first. Our team is really impressed with how Envizi have managed to find the right balance between system complexity and information clarity. With the power of the Envizi analytics engine we will be able to provide building owners and operators with exactly the right level of insight into their buildings’ energy performance exactly when they need it.”
Under the partnership agreement, Buildings Alive will offer clients the option to bundle Envizi’s Equipment Fault Detection module into their REF service and will deliver additional services to help clients get maximum value from the insights delivered by Envizi. Equally, Envizi’s clients will be given the option to engage Buildings Alive to deploy and champion the Equipment Fault Detection solution within their organization. Most importantly, the partners believe that the combined offering will help clients to achieve optimum performance over the longer-term.
